Hilary’s diverse career has encompassed Sales, Technical Support, Customer Service, Operations and Human Resources Management in successively more responsible and challenging roles. Following 11 years with IBM (including six successful years in sales management), Hilary added over a decade of experience in the technology and services environment, before starting her own Coaching and Consulting Practice in 2002.  Leadership and Executive Board level roles have included Operations Director for a Business Continuity, PLC, UK Human Resources Director for a pan-European IT services company; Principal of a management development training organization.

Today Hilary runs her own coaching and consulting practice and delivers essential mentoring, coaching and skills development through: executive and business coaching; organizational change programs; communications skill development; personal and team effectiveness.  Hilary also works with providing mentoring to new coaches seeking certification and soon will be offering supervision skills to coaches.

Professional Experience

Hilary works with leaders from a wide range of backgrounds.  Her clients are small business owners, Senior Civil Servants in the Public Sector, and leaders, executives and senior personnel in large Corporations.  Her coaching often covers a variety of challenging issues including strategic agility, career transition, enhancing communications skills, leadership skills and developing key coaching skills. Hilary is now a Master Licensed Facilitator of the Corporate Coach U Coaching Clinic and trains managers and leaders to use coaching skills in organizations as well as training coaches and facilitators to deliver the programme.  In addition, she leads in-person Core Essentials Coaching Programmes (CEFTP) to train and develop people to become professional Coaches – internal and external to organizations.

Professional Development

Hilary trained with Corporate Coach U and is a certified member of the International Coach Federation as a Professional Certified Coach (PCC).  Hilary is level A & B Certified and qualified in a number of assessment tools including, Strength Deployment Inventory ® (SDI), Emotional Intelligence Bar- on-EQI, Personal Coaching Styles Inventory (PCSI); Criterion Partnership Personality Assessment (CAL).

Hilary’s career in business also meant she completed an array of Personal, Management and Business training programs.
